Research work of chair is under construction on the basis of long-term and current plans of development of chair and university.  Work on state budgetary (to not financed subjects), on preparation of scientific articles, demands for inventions, reports on scientific and technical conferences and seminars is constantly carried out.

On chair the state budgetary research work on the subject “research of joint influence of gaps in bearings of rolling rolls and shifts of pillows of rolls of 2-cage fair camps of cold rolling on some quality indicators of thin-sheet steel” is carried out.

Results of scientific researches are periodically published in various editions of the Republic and the abroad, reported at the international and republican conferences.
