STUDENTS OF KSIU TOOK AN ACTIVE PART IN THE III SUMMIT OF STUDENT LEADERS OF THE SCO COUNTRIES IN THE ALTAI REPUBLIC OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION.

Students of KSIU Shirman Alexander and Bobylev Artem took part in the III Summit of student leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, held in the city of Gorno-Altaysk of the Russian Federation.

The III Student Leadership Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held from November 27 to 30, 2019. The summit was attended by over 100 representatives of 6 countries. Only 10 children from Kazakhstan took part, of which two representatives of the Karaganda region are students of the Karaganda State Industrial University.

The SCO Student Leadership Summit is an international event traditionally held in Altai, which annually brings together student leaders from member countries, observers and dialogue partners of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The Summit participants were determined on the basis of a portfolio contest, in the framework of which the experience of activities in the field of students and the implementation of socially significant projects on key topics of the Summit were taken into account.

Participants, guests and experts were waited by the educational, cultural, creative and tourist program. As part of the Summit program, a series of master classes, panel discussions, round tables and lectures on key areas of activity of student associations were held.

The grand closing took place in the hall of the Academic Council of the Altai State University. The result of a three-day fruitful work was a resolution containing recommendations for improving the system of student self-government, youth project activities and the educational process. Based on the results of the vote, the draft resolution was adopted unanimously and will be finalized by participants and organizers in the course of further work and communication.

An important step in the development of partnerships and friendships between youth organizations at the international ice level was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the chairman of the All-Russian Student Union Oleg Tsapko and the Secretary General of the Omsk international UN model Vrezhik Fagradyan, who combined their organizations to work on relevant projects.

After summing up and presenting certificates, participants, organizers and experts were able to communicate and take stock in an informal setting.
