Karaganda State Industrial University was visited by foreign guests participating in the international educational project “Synergy”.

The international university network project “Synergy” is a new approach to the training of modern engineers based on the creation of new learning principles using modern capabilities and technologies. The approach proposed in the project is successfully developed in an important engineering field related to robotics, mechatronics, automatic control of technical objects, as well as automation and intellectualization of production, which is the basis for increasing labor productivity and technological capabilities of domestic enterprises.

The project implemented the main components: the organization of broad theoretical training of bachelors, undergraduates and graduate students, the creation of a joint network of training and educational and methodological base; creation of a network of material and technical complex for conducting practical exercises, laboratory practical work and research of students and post-graduate students. The network technology of the organization of scientific research activity was introduced and tested; The peculiarities of special technical training of graduates for domestic enterprises and scientific organizations are revealed; organized and actively conducted vocational guidance work on the basis of established network technologies.

As part of the delegation that visited KSIU, the professors of the Zadar University (Croatia) Branko Catalinich and Ante Uglesic, as well as the professor of the Mostar University (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Lerka Ostoich. Branko Catalinić is the president of the Central European branch of the International Academy of Engineering, the executive adviser to Festo and the coordinator of the Synergy network. The guests were accompanied by the head of the republican center “KarSTU-Festo-Synergy”, head of the KSTU, Professor Joseph Braydo.

For the guests there was an excursion on KSIU, during which the production sites and unique laboratory equipment were demonstrated. The professors provided full information on the material and technical base and staff of the university. In the near future, the issue of inclusion of KGIU in the number of participants of the inter-university scientific and educational network “Synergy”, which is one of the largest and most successful in the world practice, will be decided.
