Magistracy

According with the law of Republic of Kazakhstan «About education» magistracy relates to postgraduate education also provides preparation of scientific and scientific and pedagogical staffs for the production, scientific organizations and higher educational institutions. Education in magistracy has a purpose to reach high quality of education by stimulation of independent educational, research and scientific and pedagogical activity of the undergraduate, ensuring equivalence of documents on award of the academic degree the “master”, given out by educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and educational institutions of foreign countries.

Modern tendencies of country’s development dictate need of deep training of specialists on a range of the directions demanded by modern branches. Development and introduction of highly effective productions demand to realize training with the fundamental education level, capable to combine different types of activity, with extensive skills.

Besides, at the final stages of training of specialists its important to have exact adaptation to requirements of the real enterprise. Karaganda state industrial university offers you such preparation analytically and systemically conceiving professionals in a magistracy

Magistracy of Karaganda state industrial university — is it is special system of elite training of specialists during which they get real experience, business skills and prepare total works on activities of the enterprise. As a result the graduate receives professional competences which give the chance to him:

  • to adapt quickly for professional activity;
  • to have a complete idea of domestic and world achievements in the sphere of activity, to work in the conditions of innovations;
  • to possess profound fundamental knowledge and the increased creative potential;
  • to solve complex research and production challenges, to work in team and independently to increase the qualification

The KSIU master programs are created on the basis of cooperation with the largest employers and most focused on a labor market. In the course of training in a magistracy more time is taken away on realizing scientifically – research works, projects, and extent of independent participation much more, than when training bachelors. Therefore demand for graduates masters constantly grows.

On the end of training degree “master” is appropriated to graduates and the diploma of the state sample is handed over.

Training of scientific and pedagogical staffs according to programs of a magistracy it is carried out on 8 specialties:

1)    6М070900 – Metallurgy

2)    6М072900 – Civil engineering

3)    6М050600 – Economics

4)    6М072100 – The chemical technology of organic substances

5)    6М073100 – The safety of human life and protection of environment

6)    6М071200 – Mechanical engineering

7)    6М071000 – Materials science and technology of new materials

8)    6М072400 – Technological machines and equipment

Requirement to level of preparation of the arriving: the higher basic education (bachelor degree) or the higher vocational education in the direction (specialties). Arriving in a magistracy pass entrance examination in a foreign language (testing) and specialties (orally). Statements are accepted from June 20 to July 20. Entrance examinations from August 1 to August 20. Transfer is made till September 1. Training is carried out on the budgetary and commercial bases. The graduates who have successfully mastered educational master programs, are prepared for training in doctoral studies.
