Contents and structure of

educational and methodical complex of discipline (EMCD)

 

The Educational and Methodical Complex of Discipline (EMCD) is a component of uniform system of methodical documentation of higher education institution. It is developed on the basis of the approved curricula and programs, and also normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the organization of educational process.

Structure of EMCD:

– title page;

– contents or list of the EMCD structural elements;

– the standard training program of discipline for obligatory disciplines (copy);

– working training program;

– the training program of discipline for the student – syllabus;

– abstracts of lectures;

– the list of demonstration materials, technical means of training (the equipment, posters, slides, reactants, etc.), program and multimedia maintenance of studies (depending on the content of discipline);

– methodical recommendations about discipline studying;

– methodical instructions and recommendations about standard calculations, performance of settlement and graphic, control, laboratory works, academic year projects (works) (depending on the content of discipline);

– materials for independent work of the being trained: texts of homeworks, control tasks, standard calculations, didactic materials, etc.;

– the glossary (joins in EMCD structure if necessary);

– materials for control of knowledge during carrying out the current, boundary control and total certification;

– card of educational and methodical security of discipline;

– list of specialized audiences, offices and laboratories.
