Science activity

The scientific activity of the department is aimed at obtaining and applying new knowledge for:

development of laser technology to receiving oven films with high current-limiting ability on basis of rbаcuo and ybacufeo ceramics

Purpose of project:

The purpose of project is development of methods for increasing density of critical current and achievement optimal values of cryogenic parameters for HTSC- oven films 2G on the basis of difficult cuprate oxides RBaCuO ( R = Y, La, Nd, Gd) an YBaCuFeO, which received by the methods of impulse laser ablation.

Advantages: Second- rate generation high-temperature superconductors (HTSC) (2G) RBa2Cu3O7-x ( R = Y, Nd,Gd), YBa2Cu3-yFeyO7-x are continentally studied and hopeful materials for practical application in the ovev filmed form. In this connection the important scientific-technical object is development methods to increase current-limiting ability for the second-rate generation HTSC -oven filmed electric conductors.

Accomplishment the work by this project is guaranteed development laser technology to improve cryogenic characters for the second – rate generation oven filmed HTSC – electric conductors.

Current state of the project:

The using impulse laser ablation method is guaranteed to receive BTSP-oven film with high rate crystallized perfection and stoichiometric which close to accumulation electrode composition. The work is expect to achievement high datum of oven films critical current density (~10 7А/см2). One of the methods is to crate pinning effective centers.
