RULES OF ADMISSION TO THE KSIU

1. The KSIU accepts persons with general secondary (secondary general), technical and vocational (primary or secondary vocational), post-secondary, higher (higher vocational) education.
2. Graduates of schools and technical and vocational education organizations (VET) are enrolled in KSIU on a competitive basis in accordance with the points of the certificate.
3. Certificates are issued as a result of a unified national test (UNT) or integrated testing (CT).
4. Acceptance of documents for delivery of complex testing is carried out by the selection committee of KSIU in the period from June 1 to June 20.

• education certificate (original);
• 2 photographs of size 3 × 4;
• medical certificate with a photo of fluorography;
• 3 copies of an identity document;
• receipt for testing;
• folder, file, letter-cover.

4. According to the results of the successful delivery of UNT or CT applicants have the right to participate in the competition for an educational grant.

Acceptance of documents for the competition is carried out by the admission committee of KSIU in the period of July 18-26.

The list of documents required for participation in the competition for the award of the educational grant

• application on a special form;
• education certificate (original);
• 2 photographs of size 3 × 4;
• medical certificate with a photo of fluorography;
• 3 copies of an identity document;
• receipt for testing;
• folder, file, letter-cover.

5. For participants of the UNT (CT) who did not collect the threshold score, participants with canceled results and persons who did not take part in the UNT (CT) in August are re-integrated testing. The admission committee of KSIU carries out reception of documents for repeated CT in the period July 25 – August 3.

ENTRY IN KSIU

1. Enrollment of students in KSIU is carried out by the admission committee until August 25.
2. The KSIU enrolls graduates of educational organizations that implement educational programs of general secondary education or technical and vocational, post-secondary education, passed UNT or CT, scored at least 50 points, including at least 5 points in the history of Kazakhstan; literacy, reading proficiency – the language of instruction, and at least 5 points for each profile subject.
3. The KSIU enrolls graduates of educational organizations that implement educational programs of technical and vocational, post-secondary education, enrolled in related specialties on reduced educational programs with an accelerated period of study, who have passed the CT and who have received testing at least 25 points, including at least 5 points in general discipline and at least 5 points in the main discipline.
4. Persons who do not get the threshold score UNT (CT) credited to KSIU conditionally on full-time tuition on a fee basis. For these individuals, UNT or CT are re-held at the end of the first academic period of study at a higher educational institution.
5. Persons with higher education are enrolled in KSIU on the basis of the results of the interview.
6. Foreign citizens are enrolled in KSIU for paid training based on the results of the interview (without passing the CT).
7. Transfer of students studying in foreign universities to KSIU is carried out without passing the CT.

When transferring or restoring a student from a foreign educational organization, the following documents are submitted:

1) a document on mastered curriculum (academic transcript or transcript);

2) a document on the completion of the previous level of education, which is undergoing the procedure of nostrification in the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the procedure established by the Rules for the Recognition of Foreign Certification of Education Documents, approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan №. 8 of January 10, 2008.

3) the results of entrance tests for admission to foreign educational organizations.

Attention:

1. Documents submitted in a foreign language must have a notarized translation into the state or Russian language.
2. Education documents issued by foreign educational organizations undergo a nostrification procedure in accordance with the procedure established by law after enrollment of persons during the first semester of study.
