Aims in the field of quality

Global aim: The modernization of forming enterprise in Temirtau – of the State Industrial University as a centre of socio-political stability and the integration of education, science and innovation, implementation of modern quality standards, multilevel model of continuous training for the social protection of youth and ensuring the mining industry competitive experts of a technical profile with higher and postgraduate education.

 

In accordance with the Policy in the field of quality the University for the 2018-2019 academic yearhas the following objectives:

 

  1. University institutional accreditation and specialized accreditation (8 master’s degree programs).
  2. Implementation of the State program of development of education and science for the years 2016-2019 (steps 2018-2019); program “Digital Kazakhstan” (Information and communication center SOTSBI), “Ruhani Zhangyru”.
  3. Inclusion of disciplines (modules), giving entrepreneurial competence to University students – 2 disciplines (for non-economic specialties).
  4. Introduction of textbooks of the project “New humanitarian knowledge. 100 new textbooks in the kazakh language”.
  5. According to the comprehensive program, the development of 67 electronic study guides, 36 study and methodical guides and study and methodical complexes of discipline in the state language, 40 study and methodical guides and study and methodical complexes of discipline in English, 76 study guides.
  6. Increase the number of employed graduates in the first year after graduation to 80%.
  7. Publish 75 articles in international journals with impact factor (Web of Science, Scopus, Russian science citation index).
  8. Obtaining 10 certificates for intellectual property (patents, copyrights, utility models).
  9. Creation of a specialized mineralogical Museum.
  10. Carrying out a set of activities aimed at involving students in public life and the development of student government (at least 30 events covering 60% of the total number of students; the creation of a Youth Parliament).
  11. Publication of 35 information materials about scientific, social and cultural life of the University for the mass media in order to promote the brand of the University.
