Karaganda state industrial University annually holds a solemn meeting dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the festively decorated hall on this day there were not only veterans of labor, faculty, staff and students of the University, but also special guests – friends and classmates of the President N.A. Nazarbayev: Sarekenov K. Z., Omashev K. O., Iskakov T. I., Asanov A. A.,Vakhitova N. T., Nikonov V. A.,  Jukushev S. M.. That they stood at the cradle of Kazakhstan’s Magnitka: worked and studied, praising our city labor successes.

The rector of the University – doctor of technical Sciences, Professor, Bakhyt akhatovich Zhautikov necessarily speaks with words of congratulations. He not only congratulated all those present on the occasion, but also fulfilled a special mission of presenting the diplomas of “Honorary Professor of KSIU” and academic regalia – gowns and konfederatki honored workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Do not remain without attention and young teachers, staff and students of the University, their work experience is not so great, but for a conscientious attitude to their work, academic success, active citizenship, many marked Diplomas and letters of thanks to the rector of KGIU.

At the end of the holiday in the hall of the Assembly hall, 1st year students necessarily organize a flash mob ” I am a patriot of the Republic of Kazakhstan!”thus, showing social activity, citizenship, supported the Republican youth movement “Kazakhstan-2050”.
