The Laboratory of an Engineering Profile (LEP) of electronic microscopy and nanotechnology is created on the basis of the Karaganda state industrial university by the order of the chairman of committee of science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 3, 2008.

In November, 2012 final procedure of accreditation of Engineering Profile of “Electronic microscopy and nanotechnology “ was carried out and the accreditation certificate on compliance to requirements of ST of RK ISO/MEK17025-2007 “The general requirements to competence of test and calibration laboratories” (No. KZ.10.I.1360 of February 6, 2012) is received.
