IshmukhamedovNariman Kuanyshgalievich

rector in the years 1970-1988.

He was born July 31, 1929 in the village of Kara-TyubeKaratyubensky district of the Ural region in the family of an employee. He began to study in 1937 and after finishing the seven classes he entered a two-year preparatory department at the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute.

In 1946-1948 he was a student at the metallurgical faculty of the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute. In 1948, he transferred to the third year of the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys to continue his studies in the specialization of ferrous metallurgy.

After defending the thesis in 1951, he was sent to work at the Kazakh Metallurgical Plant, where he worked until 1957, consistently occupying the positions of assistant master, foreman, shift supervisor, deputy head of open hearth shop.

In June 1957, in connection with the organization of the Karaganda economic council, he was appointed chief steelmaker. In this position he worked until 1961.

In 1961-1965 he occupied the posts of deputy chief engineer, chief of the production and technical department, chief engineer of the Department of Ferrous Metallurgy and Chemistry of the Karaganda Economic Council.

In 1965 Ishmukhamedov Nariman Kuanyshgalievich was nominated for the post of deputy head of the association of ferrous metallurgy enterprises of the Kazakh SSR (Kazchermet). Here he worked until 1970, taking up the post of chief engineer in 1969.

Nariman Kuanyshgalievich successfully combined production and management with research. In 1955 he enrolled in correspondence postgraduate study of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. In 1962, after the successful defense of the thesis, he was awarded the degree of candidate of technical sciences.

 

Since August 1970 Ishmukhamedov N.K. appointed by the rector of the plant-HTEI at KMC. In this position he worked until March 22, 1988. In 1977-1988, concurrently he was acting as the head of the steel metallurgy department, later as the head of the iron and steel metallurgy department. Under the leadership of Nariman Kuanyshgalievich, the university continued to expand, its personnel and material and technical base were strengthened.

In 1994, the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ishmukhamedov N.K. awarded the academic title of professor in the specialty of “metallurgy”.

After retiring from office, the rector until 2008 worked at the department. In 2006-2008 he held the position of consultant of the department “Metallurgy of ferrous and non-ferrous metals”.

Ishmukhamedov N.K. author of more than 60 scientific papers, including three monographs.

He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor, medals “For Valiant Labor” and “Veteran of Labor”, a badge “For Excellent Success in Work”, diplomas of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR.
